The primary function of the Teller is to provide superior member service by receiving and disbursing currency, keeping accurate records of currency and negotiable instruments involved in various transactions. Tellers will make appropriate products/service referrals, process transfers between accounts, money orders, credit card cash advances and other services to members. Work may be performed on the platform or at the drive-thru windows. This position complies with all federal, state, and organizational policies, procedures, and processes, including (but not limited to) the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Maintains confidentiality of current, past and potential members and their personal and financial information.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Processes deposits to share, share draft, and other savings accounts.
• Receives loan and credit card payments.
• Provide superior customer service to members.
• Processes transfers between accounts, money orders and credit card cash advances.
• Provides information to members regarding the features and benefits of Freedom products and services.
• Other duties may be assigned, including ATM balancing, filing, answering telephone calls, and assisting in end of day balancing.
• Follow all branch security procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of six months or more of related experience and/or training.
• Must have the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
