Receive and process customer’s financial transactions. Adheres to Core Values and promotes Value Driven Culture at all times. Performs duties in compliance with regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
• Receives checks and cash for deposit; verify deposit amount, examine checks for endorsement and negotiability.
• Cashes checks and provides cash from accounts, verify signature, account numbers, and account balances.
• Receives loan payments; verify payments equal amount due, collect late charges if applicable.
• Sells, collects and balances fees on money orders, official checks.
• Balances cash drawer at designated balancing times by counting cash in drawer, balancing checks and making settlement of the day’s activities.
• Processes ATM and balances ATM daily.
• Processes Bank by mail transactions.
• Assists with end of day balancing procedures.
• Completes various forms and collects proper fees.
• Processes night drop transactions.
• Promotes Bank products and services. Builds relationships and provides outstanding customer service.
• Completes Currency Transaction Reports within established timeline. Run OFAC on non-customer transactions.
• Adheres to Core Values and promotes Value Driven Culture at all times.
• Responsible for complying with the Bank Secrecy Act policies and procedures, including attendance at annual training, as directed by the Bank Secrecy Act Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: One - two years’ related experience preferred.
Bank operations preferred.
SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Strong organizational and mathematical skills are required.
