About the Role
As a Teller II, you’ll be on the front lines of our customer experience—handling transactions, opening accounts, and supporting your team. You’ll play a key role in promoting our bank’s products and services while ensuring every customer interaction is friendly, efficient, and professional.
What You’ll Do
Support Customers: Assist with deposits, withdrawals, account maintenance, and digital banking questions while providing excellent customer service.
Open New Accounts: Help customers open and manage new consumer deposit and savings accounts.
Train and Mentor: Assist with training new tellers and reviewing new account setups.
Process Transactions: Handle wire transfers, debit card requests, stop payments, and more.
Ensure Accuracy: Balance cash drawers, verify signatures, and follow procedures for placing holds.
Promote Products: Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking solutions.
Stay Organized: Maintain logs, upload documents, and use internal systems like SharePoint.
Stay Informed: Keep up with banking regulations, security procedures, and fraud prevention.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
6 months to 1 year of banking experience (including cash handling and customer service).
Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Tech-savvy and comfortable using multiple computer systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
2+ years of banking experience.
