Position Summary

As a Teller, you will serve as the face of Mid Carolina Credit Union by delivering outstanding service to members through accurate transaction processing, problem-solving, and product education. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, are detail-oriented, and have a passion for providing exceptional member experiences.

What You'll Do

• Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing.


• Accurately balance a cash drawer and maintain transaction integrity.


• Provide prompt, friendly, and professional service in the branch, drive-thru, and over the phone.


• Answer member questions and resolve account-related inquiries.


• Identify member needs and recommend appropriate credit union products and services.


• Support branch operations by assisting coworkers and contributing to team goals.


• Maintain confidentiality and comply with credit union policies and procedures.


• Help create a welcoming and positive environment for members and team members.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.


• Strong customer service and communication skills.


• Basic math proficiency and attention to detail.


• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.


• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous teller, banking, credit union, retail, or cash-handling experience.


• Experience working directly with customers or members.


• Knowledge of financial products and services.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
