Temp to Hire Warehouse Clerk (Fulltime Days)

Description

MetaSource is looking to hire a first shift Warehouse Clerk to help with boxing confidential files, labeling the contents of each box, stack them onto shipping pallets, and prepare them for transportation to our processing center. This a temporary position, with the possibility of full-time employment.

Schedule: Fulltime Monday-Friday

Pay: $16.00 /hour.

Hours: 7:00AM- 3:30PM

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assisting in warehouse operations as needed.

Secondary Responsibilities include:

• Use company tracking software and hardware to locate, relocate and update volume statuses.
• Pull requests from locations and deliver to production area.
• Load vehicles with confirmed items according to safe practices while taking the necessary precautions material handling. with hazardous goods.
• Unload and sort items collected according to department expectations.
• Adapt to changes in delivery schedules on a day-to-day as assigned by management.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Relevant warehouse experience
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos in English
• Observes safety and security procedures. Reports potentially unsafe conditions to MetaSource leadership.
• Uses equipment and wears personal prospective equipment appropriately.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25–30-pound boxes on a consistent basis.
• Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and fingers are required
