Temporary Caregiver For Special Event

Jovie is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Temporary Caregivers to join our team for a large event from July 8th to July 12th!

We are looking for caregivers who possess extensive experience with children aged 1 to 10 years old, including managing groups of up to four children at once.

Event Details:

• Dates: July 8th - July 12th

• Orientation (Mandatory): Tuesday, July 8th (choose one session: 9 AM - 12 PM OR 1 PM - 4 PM)

• Care Days & Hours:

  • Wednesday, July 9th: 7 AM - 5:30 PM

  • Thursday & Friday: 7 AM - 5:30 PM

  • Saturday, July 12th: 7 AM - 1:30 PM

• Location: Denver Convention Center (starting point for all activities)

• Role: Caregivers will be assigned a group of children (hoping for a 1:6 ratio or less). Half of our caregivers will accompany groups on exciting field trips throughout the week, while the other half will provide care for younger children on-site. One field trip day will involve a waterpark.

• Pay: $19.50/hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic care needs for children aged 1-10.

• Engage children in fun and safe activities.

• Supervise assigned groups, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

• Adhere to event guidelines, including a strict no-photography policy.

• Participate in field trips as assigned (caregivers attending the waterpark trip should bring a one-piece bathing suit and shorts).

Qualifications:

• Proven experience working with children aged 1-10 years old (e.g., babysitting, daycare, caring for siblings/family).

• CPR and First Aid Certified.

• Ability to bring a positive and helpful attitude to a dynamic environment.

• Eager to learn and grow.

Attire Requirements:

• Bottoms: Black, Khaki, or Navy (professional attire; no short shorts or jeans).

• Tops: Jovie shirts will be provided.

Logistics & Compensation:

• Designated parking lot available with QR code access.

• Travel reimbursement up to $40 per day for caregivers from Colorado Springs.

• This is a temporary position with approximately 42 hours for the event duration.
