Temporary Certified Nursing Assistant

Compass Health Center is seeking a Temporary Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Northbrook team. Compass Health Center is a recognized leader in crisis-level mental health, setting the standard for excellence in the PHP/IOP space. Our rapid growth continues to create new opportunities as we continue to push for better and differentiated care for our patients seeking treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and other co-occurring conditions.

We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant that can complete the following responsibilities:

• Screening Compass patients and staff for COVID-19 symptoms upon their arrival at the facility – this includes temperature checks & symptom screening
• Distributing personal protective equipment, ensuring proper use throughout the facility
• Infectious disease control responsibilities, including but not limited to disinfection of high-touch areas throughout the facility, restocking supplies, and maintenance of bathroom amenities
• Measuring & recording vitals (height, weight, blood pressure, heart rate, respirations, temperature, pulse oximetry)
• Performing basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies
• Assisting providers with writing laboratory orders and retrieving results
• Specimen collection (buccal swab for genetic testing)

You would be the ideal candidate, if you have:

• Successfully completed of an accredited CNA program with active licensure in Illinois
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Knowledge of proper PPE & disinfecting standards
• Experience in mental health is preferred, but not required
