Job Description - Temporary Clerk - Document Management


Temporary Clerk – Document Management
Location: Dallas
Assignment Length: 6 weeks (Temporary)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking detail-oriented Temporary Clerks to support a short-term document management project in an office setting. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate records by reviewing, organizing, preserving, or properly discarding documents in accordance with established guidelines.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy organized, focused work and thrive in a professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review, sort, and organize paper and/or electronic documents
  • Preserve records in accordance with retention policies
  • Identify and properly discard documents approved for disposal
  • Label, file, and prepare records for storage or archiving
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly
  • Follow written procedures and supervisor instructions closely
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace
Qualifications
  • Availability to start asap
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to follow document retention and handling guidelines
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with accuracy
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment
  • Ability to sit, stand, and handle files for extended periods
  • Prior clerical, administrative, or records experience is a plus (not required)

  • Team-oriented environment with clear processes and expectations
