Temporary Environmental Planner

Logan Simpson has immediate openings for temporary part-time Environmental Planners to work out of our downtown Tempe, Arizona office. 

This position is paid on an hourly basis of $20-25 per hour.

Responsibilities Include:

• Regularly travel to the local Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) office to assist with onsite support.


• Work on Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) records for current contract.


• Other responsibilities as required, commensurate with experience.

Position Requires:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Planning, Anthropology, Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Environmental Studies, or closely related field.


• 3+ years of related Environmental Planning experience in a consulting or agency setting.


• Knowledge of environmental planning focused on federal regulations.


• Excellent written and verbal communication, with strong interpersonal skills.


• Exceptional attention to detail and quality control.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products and Adobe Acrobat.


• Ability to multitask and be able to adjust to daily changes in priorities to meet deadlines.
