Temporary Event Staff

Position Overview

We are seeking energetic, dependable, and team-oriented individuals to join our Summer Event Staff team to support several large-scale events throughout the summer season. The primary focus of this role will be assisting operations during , with mandatory availability required from July 8th through July 12th. Staff may also be scheduled to assist during our 4th of July event activities and other special events throughout the summer.

This is a flexible, fast-paced position designed to support multiple areas of the property as operational needs change throughout each event. Team members must be willing to float between assignments and assist wherever needed to help ensure a positive guest experience.

 Key Responsibilities

• Assist with event operations across various locations on the property 
• Provide support in restaurant, bar, concessions, guest service, and general event areas as needed 
• Deliver friendly and professional customer service to guests and attendees 
• Help maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards throughout the property 
• Assist with setup, breakdown, stocking, crowd flow, and other event-related duties 
• Work collaboratively with management and fellow staff members during high-volume events 
• Adapt quickly to changing assignments and operational needs 

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old 
• Must be available to work July 8th–July 12th for Gettysburg Bike Week events 
• Availability during the 4th of July holiday weekend is strongly preferred 
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays 
• Strong communication and teamwork skills 
• Ability to remain professional and positive in a fast-paced environment 
• Previous hospitality, restaurant, bar, or event experience is preferred but not required 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods 
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds 
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying summer weather conditions 

Work Environment

This position operates in a high-energy event environment with large crowds, live entertainment, and varying operational needs. Staff members should be comfortable working in different areas of the property and assisting wherever support is needed most during events.
