Temporary Financial Analyst Senior - Corporate Accounting

• Drives the month-end close process by posting complex journal entries with a short deadline, ensuring compliance with GAAP, organizational policy, and audit requirements

• Keeps accurate schedules and records that streamline the balance sheet reconciliation process.

• Advises staff on accounting principles, reconciliation methods, and financial reporting practices.

• Conducts and reviews detailed reconciliations, validates accuracy, identifies variances, and ensures proper documentation for audit readiness.

• Partner with Finance leadership, operational leaders, and clinical stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.

• Utilize Excel-based applications to transform accounting records into actionable reports.

• Supports departmental performance initiatives, internal audit activities, and quality improvement efforts.

• Analyze budget‑to‑actual and performance variances, identify key drivers, and communicate implications to leadership.

• Implements, monitors, and maintains internal controls within assigned areas; identifies weaknesses and recommends improvements.

• Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance accounting processes, automation, and reporting efficiency.

• Models professionalism, participates in orientation and education of new team members or students, and communicates effectively with leadership and coworkers.

·         Advanced financial modeling, trend analysis, and performance reporting skills.

·         Expert knowledge of accounting system workflows, month-end processes, and GAAP.

·         Strong ability to communicate financial results to executive and operational audiences.

·         License/Registration - Issued by Florida or Compact State

·         Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other Related Field.
