The Big Picture

This role exists for one reason: to land the plane well.

As Program Coordinator, you will lead the final chapter of the Academic Achievers Program—ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled, outcomes are documented, partners are supported, and the program closes with integrity and impact.

This is a deliverables-driven role ideal for someone who thrives on structure, deadlines, and finishing what others started—exceptionally well.

  • Lead day-to-day program operations during the final grant cycle, ensuring all requirements are met on time and with accuracy with the support of the Director of Programs & Innovation

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and supervise 21 AmeriCorps tutors
across multiple service-hour slots with the help of the Social Impact Assistant

  • Conduct three required tutor orientations, one performance evaluation per tutor, and a final recognition event by July 31, 2026

  • Oversee the HubSpot recruitment pipeline and administrative onboarding processes managed by the Social Impact Assistant

  • Track tutor compliance (trainings, service hours, documentation—no surprises here)

  • Supervise two Site Supervisors and coordinate closely with school and community partners

  • Implement two Family Reading Time Events, ensuring strong participation and documentation

  • Collect, analyze, and submit program outcome data and final reports

  • Manage the program budget, expenditures, and compliance reporting in collaboration with leadership

  • Represent ReDefiners World Languages in community spaces to ensure at least 100 families increase awareness of available tutoring services

What Success Looks Like

  • All grant deliverables completed accurately and on time

  • Tutors supported, evaluated, and recognized

  • Sites satisfied, families informed, and students served

  • Final reports submitted with confidence (and no last-minute panic)

You’re a Great Fit If You…

  • Love closing loops and checking boxes with excellence

  • Are highly organized, proactive, and comfortable leading others

  • Have experience in program coordination, education, nonprofit operations, or AmeriCorps environments

  • Can balance people management with data, deadlines, and documentation

What You Bring to the Role

  • A bachelor’s degree in education, nonprofit management, public administration, social sciences, or a related field or equivalent hands-on experience

  • 2+ years of experience coordinating programs, managing education or nonprofit initiatives, or working in AmeriCorps-adjacent environments

  • Experience supervising people—tutors, volunteers, interns, or staff

  • Strong organizational instincts and comfort managing deadlines, documentation, and follow-through

  • Clear, professional communication skills with families, partners, and internal teams

  • Comfort using tools like spreadsheets, CRMs (such as HubSpot), and student progress platforms

Helpful, but not required: AmeriCorps experience, K–12 or tutoring program experience, budget tracking, or multilingual skills.
