Compensation: $27.38/hour (plus .50 for Bilingual Spanish)
Hours: Temporary – planned for 40hrs/week – Subject to change based on program needs.

NeighborImpact’s Head Start program Overview
NeighborImpact Head Start is a comprehensive early education program serving children and families in Central Oregon. It integrates high-quality pre-kindergarten education with essential services such as health, nutrition, and family advocacy. Operating across multiple sites, NeighborImpact Head Start supports social competence, school readiness, and overall well-being of children from ages three to five.
Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The Temporary Head Start Advocate will provide coverage for staff on extended leave. This role works with identified families to promote asset development, family wellness, family partnerships and parent involvement in the program. The advocate operates as a liaison between classroom and home settings and as a liaison between families and other NeighborImpact programs and community services. Consultation, support and mentoring are provided to program staff, as well. The position also works as a member of the ERSEA (Enrollment, Recruitment, Selection, Eligibility and Attendance) team.
