ABOUT THE ROLE
The CNC Machining Academy is a 3-week intensive, specialized program designed for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) high school students who will be entering 10th-12th grade in the Fall of 2026, or who are graduating in the Spring of 2026. By merging technical precision with an accessible learning environment, the CNC Machining Academy is designed to:
Close academic gaps by applying core mathematical and scientific concepts to real-world fabrication.
Strengthen ASL and English literacy through immersive, technical instruction and specialized terminology.
Cultivate college and career readiness by developing leadership, precision, and professional stamina.
Expand career horizons through direct exposure to high-demand pathways in advanced manufacturing and engineering.

SALARY: $42.91 per hour Scale PH Rank 01
