Job Description - Temporary Patient Registrar - Full-time

We are looking for a full-time, temporary, Patient Registrar to join our dynamic team. At our hospital, which has been a pillar of healthcare in the community since 1922, we are dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to our patients from the moment they walk through our doors.

As a Temporary Patient Registrar, you will be the welcoming face who sets the tone for our patients' experiences. You'll play a crucial role in assisting patients through the registration process, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for from the outset. Your responsibilities will include greeting patients, checking in and registering them, verifying information, and helping them navigate their healthcare journey with ease.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma preferred or (GED) general education degree;
  • Prior experience in a medical office or similar role is a plus;
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing environments;
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical software is preferred.
