Job Description:The Temporary Property Manager will be responsible for managing daily operations across a portfolio of office and retail properties. This includes responding to tenant needs, coordinating with maintenance staff, and ensuring all properties are well-maintained and operating efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing office and retail tenants, with a proven track record of maintaining positive tenant relationships and high retention levels.
Key Responsibilities:- Tenant Relations: Proactively respond to tenant needs and inquiries, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maintenance problems.
- Maintenance Coordination: Liaise with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure property upkeep and resolve any issues promptly.
- Financial Management: Oversee rent collection, expense payments, and compliance with lease terms. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and monthly performance reports.
- Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of properties to assess and recommend necessary maintenance, alterations, or reconditioning.
- Vendor Management: Obtain bids for recurring services, prepare contracts for vendor services, and supervise vendor performance as required.
- Compliance: Ensure all property operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Lease Administration: Oversee tenant move-ins and move-outs, coordinate "walk-through" inspections, and manage lease terms and renewals.
Qualifications:- Proven experience in property management, specifically with office and retail tenants.
- Strong understanding of property maintenance, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining positive relationships with tenants, owners, and vendors.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of tenant improvements and capital expenditure projects.
- Proficient in property management software and MS Office Suite.
Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
