JOB SUMMARY
Works under immediate supervision to provide clerical and/or typing support in performance of variety of office duties which may be simple to moderately complex in nature.

JOB DUTIES

• Performs next-generation sequencing techniques, data analysis, bacterial culturing, and DNA isolation to support ongoing research activities and expand laboratory sequencing capabilities.
• Various administrative and clerical assignments filled on an as needed basis.

• Work requires ability to communicate effectively with various levels of internal and external contacts.
• Work requires ability to make basic decisions regarding sequence of work or similar matters on daily basis.
• Work requires ability to read and write.
• Work requires ability to understand and follow procedures or other guidelines of simple to moderate complexity in performance of duties
• Work requires ability to work with confidential information on daily basis.
• Work requires basic knowledge of computers, office equipment, basic keyboarding skills, spelling, and other clerical tasks.*
