Overview
As a member of the Yale Health On-Site Vaccination Team, provide assistance and support for members of the community arriving for Flu/COVID vaccinations. Arrive patients, ensure entrances are clear and social distancing protocols are followed, ask pre-screening questions, verify information in the Epic EMR system, ensure and promote the use and distribution of any required PPE, answer questions, assist in navigation and way-finding and provide assistance to the medical staff administering vaccines. May be assigned other administrative tasks associated with vaccine administration. Temporary assignment.

3. Ability to work positively and effectively with a diverse population.
4. Ability to respond to visitor inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Observes all PPE policies. Adheres to HIPAA regulations.
5. Ability to handle sensitive issues with diplomacy and tact. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
6. Excellent attendance, punctuality and reliability.
7. Required to meet immunization and health screening requirements

Principal Responsibilities
1. Provides basic information on departmental services, administrative, academic and procedural matters to students, faculty and staff. 2. Assists staff, faculty and students with the completion of forms. Reviews and verifies forms for completeness and accuracy. Researches missing information by contacting students, alumni, and University departments. 3. Maintains logs and records of activities. Compiles routine statistical data and information. Keyboards letters, memoranda and other materials. 4. Maintains files, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Uses computer terminal to input and retrieve data. Maintains records of financial activity. 5. Schedules meetings, appointments, and classrooms. 6. Performs clerical functions incidental to office activities.Job Posting Date

Health Requirements
This role is a healthcare worker position. Healthcare workers (HCW) are defined as university employees working a healthcare setting who have the potential for direct or indirect exposure to patients, human research subjects or infectious materials including body substance, contaminated medical supplies, devices and equipment, surfaces, or air. HCW have specific health requirements that must be met prior to starting work, including MMR vaccine or immunity, varicella (chickenpox) vaccine or immunity, TB screening, COVID vaccine according to University policy, hepatitis B vaccine or immunity, and annual flu vaccination.
