TENT SPECIALIST - HARDWARE PULLER

Description

 The Tent Hardware Puller is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing all hardware components required for tent installations. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth execution of events by providing the necessary materials to support field operations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced warehouse environment to meet tight event timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Fulfillment: 

• Pull tent hardware components (e.g., poles, stakes, connectors, frames, cables) based on event orders and packing lists. 
• Verify that all hardware items match order specifications in quantity, size, and type. 

Inventory Management: 

• Maintain accurate inventory records by documenting pulled items and restocking returned hardware. 
• Report shortages or damaged hardware to the supervisor for replenishment or repair. 

Quality Control: 

• Inspect all hardware for functionality and cleanliness before packing for events. 
• Ensure all components are properly labeled and organized for easy identification. 

Collaboration and Support: 

• Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to coordinate the loading of materials onto delivery vehicles. 
• Assist in staging and organizing hardware for upcoming events to streamline operations. 

Safety and Equipment Maintenance: 

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment safely when handling heavy materials. 
• Follow safety protocols to prevent injuries and maintain a clean and orderly workspace. 

Requirements

Qualifications: 

• Previous experience in warehouse operations or a similar role is preferred. 
• Knowledge of tent hardware or event equipment is a plus. 
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 75 lbs) and perform tasks requiring manual labor. 
• Basic math and organizational skills for accurate order fulfillment.

• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and event demands. 

Work Environment:

• Involves standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods. 
• May require evening, weekend, or holiday shifts based on event schedules.
