Terminal Operations Assistant - SISD Job Posting

The Terminal Operations Assistant supports daily passenger and vehicle operations at a ferry terminal. This position is designed for someone who enjoys working with people, can stay organized in a busy environment, and doesn't mind working both indoors and outdoors.

Typical duties may include:

• Greeting and checking in passengers


• Answering basic travel and schedule questions


• Assisting with vehicle staging before loading


• Communicating with vessel and terminal staff


• Answering phones


• Completing basic transactions and paperwork


• Helping passengers who need additional assistance


• Keeping terminal areas clean and organized


• Following safety and security procedures


• Helping coworkers during busy arrival and departure periods

Qualifications: Applicants should be friendly, dependable, comfortable communicating with the public, and able to remain calm when things get busy. No previous transportation or customer service experience is required.

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 10–20 hours per week, including weekends and some early mornings.

Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour.
