Job Summary: Terra Mae is seeking a skilled PM Prep Cook to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in preparing ingredients and supporting the kitchen team, ensuring that each dish reflects the creativity and quality of our culinary offerings. Your attention to detail and passion for food will contribute to crafting memorable dining experiences. This is a PM role. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking menu items to the highest standards, following recipes and specifications for consistency. 
• Menu Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of our unique menu offerings, including ingredients and preparation methods, to ensure quality and authenticity. 
• Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations (must have a valid Food Handlers card or be willing to acquire one). 
• Collaboration: Work closely with fellow kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and seamless communication during busy periods. 
• Adaptability: Be flexible and ready to assist in various kitchen tasks as needed, supporting smooth operations from prep to service. 
• Quality Control: Monitor food quality and portion sizes, adjusting as necessary to meet our high standards.

Qualifications:  

• Be able to work from 4PM-Close 
• Previous experience as a prep cook or in a culinary setting preferred, ideally in an upscale dining environment. 
• Passion for food and a willingness to learn about cultural fusion and culinary techniques. 
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. 
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude. 
• Knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen equipment. 
• Must be at least 18 years old and have or be willing to acquire a Food Handlers card.
