currently seeking a *Territory Manager* to cover the territory which is based out of their home office in Memphis, TN and whose territory covers TN / MS / AR / OK*.*

*More about the role:*

Reporting to the VP Sales USA & Mexico, the Territory Manager will proactively focus on business development and growth within the assigned geographic area.

*Responsibilities:*
* Demonstrate mastery of sales skills by generating interest and cultivating business relationships to meet or exceed budgeted volumes and contributions
* Plan and work within a defined territory on stated company sales objectives with a minimum amount of supervision and guidance
* Achieve and exceed sales targets within your territory through effective territory management, customer engagement, and strategic sales initiatives.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key distributors in the territory.
* Support distributors/customers with regular product training sessions to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to successfully promote our products.
* Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities by presenting our products and solutions to improve hand safety.
* Growing current business of distributor accounts and actively seeking new business opportunities; develop marketing plan for geographic territory.
* Effectively and proactively communicate with external and internal customers to facilitate achievement of company goals and targets
* Conduct discovery meetings/calls to understand their hand safety issues and challenges and provide consultative solutions that meet their needs.
* Gather and report on market trends, and potential for new products and services.
* Remain current with all administrative tasks, including CRM entries to support success
* Effectively and proactively communicating with external and internal customers to facilitate achievement of company goals and targets
* Develop and maintain in depth product knowledge
* 50% - 60% travel required

*Qualifications & Requirements:*
* Minimum 3 years business to business (B2B) sales experience, preferably in an industrial work safety products market.
* Post secondary degree in Business, Marketing or related field
* Proven record of sales success and history of sales accomplishments
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Goal-oriented and driven self-starter who can work independently within a team environment and strives to be the best
* Proven experience in driving opportunities through project management
* Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and Internet navigation
* Experience with Salesforce or CRM tools is required
* Established relationships in industry and/or territory is considered an asset
* Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts
* Valid passport and driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
* Ability to travel frequently within defined territory and work from home
* Must be able to work the occasional weekend as required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
