Territory Manager - Entry Level

Job Summary:  

As a Territory Manager, you will develop and maintain relationships with customers and prospects within an assigned territory. You will serve as a key point of contact for customers, helping them navigate their orders and projects while working closely with our sales team and internal departments.

This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate who wants to develop sales, communication, customer relationship, and business skills while growing within an established company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with current customers and prospects.
• Communicate with customers by phone and email regarding orders, projects, questions, and product needs.
• Work toward achieving sales goals and growing your assigned territory.
• Assist the District Sales Manager with developing new customers and expanding existing relationships.
• Learn Whirlwind Steel's products and services and help customers identify solutions that meet their needs.
• Enter and maintain accurate customer and order information in our CRM system.
• Coordinate with internal teams to help ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Follow up with customers throughout the order process to provide a high level of service.
• Build your knowledge of the metal building industry, sales processes, and customer relationship management.
• Represent Whirlwind Steel professionally and demonstrate our commitment to customer service.

Qualifications:

• Recent college graduate or candidate with a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident and comfortable communicating with customers by phone and email.
• Motivated by goals and interested in developing a career in sales.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team.
• Positive, professional attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
• Sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Metal building industry experience is a plus, but not required.
