Job Description - Territory Sales Manager

White Ash Group is currently recruiting a Territory Sales Manager to join a growing fully licensed cannabis company in Massachusetts known for its popular brands.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Customer Management: Develop and execute strategies to increase product sales and market share within the assigned territory. Identify and target potential customers, including dispensaries, retail stores, and health practitioners. Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
Market Analysis and Strategy: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities. Use insights to develop and adjust sales strategies to meet business objectives and respond to market dynamics. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted promotions and advertising campaigns.
Compliance and Education: Stay abreast of state and local cannabis regulations, ensuring all sales activities comply with the law. Educate customers and team members on regulatory changes, product features, and benefits. Ensure all marketing and sales materials are compliant with state regulations.
Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance against targets, adjusting strategies as needed. Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's product offerings, including features, benefits, and proper usage. Provide training and support to customers on product selection, usage, and best practices.
Networking and Relationship Building: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows. Build and maintain strong professional relationships within the cannabis community, including regulators, industry associations, and advocacy groups.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
3+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Experience in the cannabis industry strongly preferred.
In-depth knowledge of the cannabis market, products, and regulatory environment in Massachusetts.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of clients and partners.
Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed sales goals.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Must be 21 years or older and able to pass a comprehensive background check in compliance with state cannabis regulations.
