Essential Duties
Job Overview:
As a Territory Sales Manager you are the company’s ambassador to the medical community. Your entrepreneurial skills and sales acumen will be crucial as you develop and enhance relationships with physicians and work to familiarize them with Alliance and the services we provide.
While achieving revenue growth with your territory, you are also responsible for ensuring that your referral sources receive the highest quality service.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Daily face-to-face interaction with doctors and staff members to create long term relationships, particularly in the field of neurology
Master medical terminology, sales practices and business acumen
Educate physicians and administrators on company’s testing services
Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals
Frequent communication and teamwork with the company’s Operations Dept.
Act as a “brand ambassador”, displaying high level of professionalism within daily interactions with physicians and occasional networking events in the healthcare community
Drive to multiple physician locations (typically within a 50 mile radius), including some remote areas; potential for some overnight travel (National Sales Conference, etc.)
General Job Responsibilities
Ability/Skills/Knowledge:
Ability to effectively communicate with and educate physicians, administrators and other healthcare professionals
Previous experience within outside Medical and/or B2B sales
Must have strong oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills allowing for the responsibility to carry numerous competing priorities, pivoting when needed
Ability to work autonomously
Qualifications
General Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of 12 months within an outside Medical and/or B2B sales role preferred
3 year experience within a customer service role (sales, Neuro Sales, hospitality, etc.)
Current driver's license with proof of valid automobile insurance
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
