This role is located in Palmdale, CA. \n\nAre you ready to take your engineering career to the next level? At Triton Production, we are seeking a dedicated and innovative Test Conductor or Principal Test Conductor to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our Triton platform, from subsystem integration to full system testing. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our advanced platform in the areas of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, flight control, landing gear, and sensor systems.\n\nWhat We Offer:\n\n * A collaborative and supportive work environment\n\n * Opportunities for professional growth and development\n\n * The chance to work on groundbreaking projects in the aerospace industry\n\n\n\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Conduct comprehensive production testing at various integration levels\n\n * Troubleshoot and resolve test anomalies efficiently\n\n * Update and refine test procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency\n\n * Actively participate in Test Readiness Reviews and test-preparation briefings\n\n * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless test progress\n\n * Coordinate test schedules with Air Vehicle Managers, Plane Captains, and Manufacturing Managers\n\n * Support overtime and adapt to off-hour schedules as needed\n\n\n\n\nWhat We\u2019re Looking For:\n\nPersonal and Professional Traits:\n\n * Methodical and well-organized with a keen eye for detail\n\n * Innovative problem solver and self-starter\n\n * Quick to adapt in a dynamic environment\n\n * Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility\n\n * Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills\n\n\n\n\n\u200b\n\n*This role may be filled at either level 2 or level 3 level depending on experience*\n\nBasic Qualifications for Test Conductor (02):\n\n * Must have 6 years of related professional/military experience OR an Associate of Science degree AND 4 years of related professional/military experience OR a Bachelor of Science degree AND 2 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree AND 0 years of related professional/military experience\n * General knowledge of unmanned aircraft and aircraft systems\n * Proficiency in Microsoft Office\n * Willingness to travel domestically and to OCONUS (up to 35%) which includes traveling to Rancho Bernardo, San Diego for training and preparation in support of travel assignments\n * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance (not required to start)\n * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.\n\n\n\nBasic Qualifications for Principal Test Conductor (03):\n\n * Must have 8 years of related professional/military experience OR an Associate of Science degree AND 6 years of related professional/military experience OR a Bachelor of Science degree AND 4 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master of Science degree AND 2 years of related professional/military experience OR a Ph.D. AND 0 years of related professional/military experience\n * Advance knowledge of unmanned aircraft and aircraft systems\n * Proficiency in Microsoft Office\n * Willingness to travel domestically and to OCONUS (up to 35%) which includes traveling to Rancho Bernardo, San Diego for training and preparation in support of travel assignments\n * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance (not required to start)\n * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Active Secret/Top Secret Clearance\n * FAA Airframe and Powerplant License\n * Mechanical and test experience on aircraft and unmanned aircraft\n * Prior test engineering experience on medium to large-sized unmanned aircraft\n * Experience testing RF, ethernet, and electrical cables\n * Experience with Teamcenter\n\n\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $125,200.00\n\nSecondary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
