Our team in Industrial Group Slip Ring and Marine is looking for a Test Engineer to join them. You will report to the Quality Assurance Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Christiansburg, VA. 

As a Test Engineer, you will:

• Support Moog Christiansburg’s automation and test activities.

• Develop written procedures based on customer requirements and direction from engineering staff

• to support automation and test devices and programs.

• Coordinate data collection and presentation.

• Ensure basic safety practices in day-to-day work.

• Assist in training/cross-training of others. Active participant in Continuous Improvement Process.

To be considered for the Test Engineer role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Mechanical Engineering; or Robotics/Mechatronics degree or related

• Experience in LabView for test automation, data acquisition, or system control.

• Foundational knowledge of electronics and low power electrical circuits

• Demonstrated hands-on proficiency working with tools, machinery, and technical equipment

• Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude.

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer literacy.

• Familiarity with SQL database (Structured Query Language)

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with a collaborative, solutions‑oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Proficiency in circuit design and related electronic systems.

• Experience or strong interest in robotics, automation, and mechatronics.

• Working knowledge of the C++ programming language.

• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and engineering drawings.
