Test Environment Engineer

Concept Solutions is seeking a Test Environment Engineer to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Office of Information Technology (AIT) Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) Services under the ITIPSS contract vehicle. The position will support FAA IT Services maintenance of servers, workstations, and appliances that replicate development and production environments and maintain software images, a software library, and a process for scheduling use of the test bed.

• Maintain Change/Configuration Management of the test bed and all components
• Develop and maintain test documents such as baseline test plans, test procedures, and test reports
• Maintain a log including systems being tested, time, date, baseline under test, test result, and final deployment decision
• Maintain all testing environments in accordance with the production environments being replicated including software, hardware, and pertinent documentation
• Use automated testing tools when appropriate to support testing and be responsible for operation and maintenance of this capability
• Document all incoming requirements and deliverables throughout the lifecycle of a testing project
• Support pre and final production readiness activities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, and/or computer science-related field; three (3) years of relevant experience.

Education/Experience Substitutions

The following substitutions may be considered at the Government's discretion:

• A Bachelor's degree in a pertinent discipline is generally equivalent to a minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.
• A Master's degree in a pertinent discipline is generally equivalent to a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
• For positions requiring a Bachelor's degree, a High School Diploma plus four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be generally adequate.

Work Location and Schedule

• Primary Location: Atlantic City, NJ
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, core hours 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM local time
• Telework may be permitted when determined to be in the best interest of the Government
• FAA Personnel Suitability clearance required (AMS 3.14-2)
