The Guard Alliance Inc is seeking a dedicated and professional Security Officer to join our growing team. In this role, you will protect people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. As the first point of contact at many client sites, you will represent our company with professionalism and integrity. Daily duties include monitoring premises through patrols and surveillance systems, controlling access points, responding to alarms and incidents, and preparing detailed activity reports. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid state security guard license or the ability to obtain one prior to starting. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates should have a clean background check and reliable transportation. Strong observation skills, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential. Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or customer service is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. The role requires the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, and respond quickly to emergency situations. Basic computer skills for report writing and familiarity with surveillance equipment are a plus.
