Job Description - Test, Measurement & Diagnostic Equipment Tech

Resicum International LLC is seeking an experienced Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) Technician to support the Indonesia AH-64E Apache Technical Assistance Field Team (TAFT). This position is an overseas assignment supporting the Tentara Nasional Indonesia (TNI) TMDE Laboratory and plays a critical role in sustaining aviation and weapon system readiness.

The TMDE Technician is responsible for the daily operations and management of the TNI TMDE Lab, including inspection, alignment, troubleshooting, calibration, verification, and limited repair of both general-purpose and weapon-system-peculiar TMDE. The technician serves as the subject matter expert for all TMDE-related activities and coordinates mission support in a multinational operational environment.

The TAFT mission is to train partner-nation technicians through a combination of academic instruction and hands-on, on-the-job training. In support of this mission, the TMDE Technician actively mentors and instructs TNI personnel, reinforces U.S. military and industry best practices, and contributes to the development of sustainable, independent TMDE capability.

Duties include managing calibration workloads and priorities; maintaining accountability and lifecycle tracking of TMDE requiring periodic calibration or recertification; reviewing maintenance requirements and determining internal support capability; and applying U.S. military, OEM, and local calibration standards and procedures. The TMDE Technician conducts tests, calibrations, and verifications in accordance with standard metrology practices and USATA guidelines, performs quality assurance audits, intermediate checks, and end-item inspections, and supports production control functions as required.

The position utilizes Fluke MET/CAL and other automated calibration programs and computer-based tools to perform parts research, prepare calibration and correction charts, and submit proposed changes to calibration procedures. The TMDE Technician also assists with training and mentoring laboratory personnel and TMDE coordinators, supporting long-term sustainment and partner-nation capability development.

This role offers excellent pay and benefits, the opportunity to work with a mature, professional TAFT team, and rewarding mission-focused work in direct support of an allied AH-64E Apache program. The duty location is approximately one hour from Bali, providing a unique quality-of-life advantage during off-duty time. The current contract has approximately five to six months remaining, with renewal anticipated.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen with a valid U.S. passport

  • Immediate availability for overseas deployment

  • Minimum of five years combined education and experience, including applicable military training

  • Five or more years of recent calibration experience in a private, commercial, or military calibration laboratory within the last ten years

  • Working knowledge of electronic principles, including DC, low-frequency, and physical/dimensional parameters

  • Working knowledge of calibration and metrology principles and best practices

  • Ability to troubleshoot measurement systems and electronic equipment

  • Experience with automated calibration software such as MET/CAL, MET/TEAM, and LogWare III

  • Knowledge of calibration software programming

  • Effective written and oral communication skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, with strong emphasis on Excel

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Calibration certification preferred
