Test Prep Tutor

Our test prep services primarily cater to the ISEE (Independent School Entrance Exam) which is a standardized test that students (3rd-9th grade) take to gain entrance into San Diego private schools. The test covers vocab, reading comprehension, math/quantitative skills, and essay writing. Training on this test is provided for our instructors.

We are looking for fun, engaging, and experienced educators to help our students reach their fullest potential in their education! Our ISEE Test Prep Instructors provide specialized academic and test prep support to build upon students’ strengths and bolster their weaknesses to help prepare them to succeed on the ISEE. We work with instructors’ specific competencies to match them with students so our test prep instructors often are able to work with other programs, such as Executive Functioning, Academic Coaching, and Admissions Advising. 

Our ideal candidate is:

• able to instruct math up to at least 6th grade
• able to provide instruction in reading, writing, and vocabulary 
• open to being trained in our programs, particularly our test prep and admissions advising programs

Availability: We are looking for availability on Monday-Fridays, and possibly Saturdays. Qualifying candidates must be available on at least two weekdays and be able to commit to a schedule for a minimum of six months.
