Description:
Test and qualify final product (barcode printer product) - printers and labels.
Load, set printer, set up feed / speed with different media and ribbon supplies.
Grade bar codes, labels, measure labels, use excel or the other QA software to analysis the data.
EE testing- Power supply, Stepper Motor and Key Components
Executes straightforward product test plans and a limited variety of moderately complex product test plans, selecting from a variety of established procedures.
Documents product performance according to established procedures.
Creates computer data files and inputs data, problems, and issues according to standard procedures.
Assists in first level failure analysis and root cause failure analysis as circumstances dictate
Completes test activities in a thorough and timely manner.
Qualifications:
BS Engineering EE Degree; OR
Associates degree with 2+ years testing experience
Familiarity with various testing methodologies, such as functional testing, performance testing, reliability testing, and environmental testing.
Understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuits, signals, and systems, is essential for comprehending product specifications and test requirements.
Basic knowledge in operating a wide range of test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.
Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
1 to 2 years of work experience preferred.
Proficient with computers and competent in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Solid professional work behaviors (attendance, teamwork, time management)
Communication skills (listening, providing clear and concise information, using proper language and grammar)
Some Chamber testing - nice to have this experience.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
