We are currently hiring a Test Technician I for our Testing Department. We offer an awesome benefits package, a 4-day work week with some overtime on Friday, no mandatory weekend work, clean environment, and opportunities for advancement!

Working Hours: Full-time, 6:00am-4:30pm M-TH, some Friday OT.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Understands simple refrigeration and electricity, refrigeration valves and schematics.
• Uses electrical meter for volt and amp checks.
• Reads basic electrical schematics.
• Cleans chambers to prepare for shipping.
• Loads and unloads chambers.
• Hooks up and unhooks utilities (electrical and water)
• Assists other Technicians as needed.
• Performs basic maintenance of the test area.
• Uses hand tools.
• Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment. 
• Regular, physical attendance is required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• EPA Type 1 and Type 2 certifications are required.
• 1-year Refrigeration certificate or 2-year Electrical/Electronics certificate required.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide is required. 
• Basic computer skills are required.
