Role Title: Test Technician

Location: Lincolnshire, IL

Duration: 12+ months contract

Job Summary:

Position will test and qualify final product (barcode printer product) - printers and labels.

Technician will load, set printer, set up feed / speed with different media & ribbon supplies.

Grade bar codes, labels, measure labels, use excel or the other QA software to analysis the data.

Some Chamber testing - Nice to have this experience.

EE testing- Power supply, Stepper Motor and Key Components

• 0-2 years testing experience
• Executes straightforward product test plans and a limited variety of moderately complex product test plans, selecting from a variety of established procedures.
• Documents product performance according to established procedures.
• Creates computer data files and inputs data, problems, and issues according to standard procedures.
• Assists in first level failure analysis and root cause failure analysis as circumstances dictate.
• Completes test activities in a thorough and timely manner.
• Familiarity with various testing methodologies, such as functional testing, performance testing, reliability testing, and environmental testing.
• Understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuits, signals, and systems, is essential for comprehending product specifications and test requirements.
• Basic knowledge in operating a wide range of test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds.

• Proficient with computers and competent in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Solid professional work behaviours (attendance, teamwork, time management)
