Summary of Position

The school seeks a full-time, on-campus Testing Center Coordinator/Student Support Assistant who is dedicated to carrying out the school's mission. The position requires a strong commitment to bridging learning support services for students with learning differences through extended-time testing and assistance in the coordination of national testing and final exams. This position is a 10-month staff, exempt position that will report to the Director of College and Academic Counseling.

Job Details:

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee the Testing Center for students needing extended time testing or make-up exams, and monitor the testing.  
• Serve as the liaison between teachers and students and facilitate testing through the scheduling system.
• Coordinate the test proctor schedule for accommodated students during final exams.
• Work closely with the student support specialist to ensure neuropsychological documentation is accurately updated and prepared for the College Board and ACT.
• Assist with coordinating the PSAT for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students with our student support specialist.  
• Assist with coordinating the AP exams and work in collaboration with the college and academic counselors.
• Work individually with students in need of additional academic support when needed.
• Maintain confidential and HIPAA-compliant documentation regarding students served by the Student Support Center.
• Responsible for communication with parents, students, and teachers about extended time testing.

Requirements

Required Experience, Degree and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in an education-related field is preferred
• Strong desire to work with high school students
• The ability to work both collaboratively and independently 
• Team player with a positive approach to student and parent relationships
• Self-starter with a desire to improve 
• Attention to detail and highly organized
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
