Job Description - Testing Technician



We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Testing Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:



  • Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of construction materials and electronics equipment.




  • Document test results and maintain accurate records for future reference.




  • Repair or replace components as needed to ensure the functionality of materials and equipment.




  • Collaborate with project managers and team members to achieve project objectives within time and budget constraints.




  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations and best practices.




  • Continuously develop and improve technical skills through training and staying up-to-date with industry advancements.




Requirements:



  1. Education- Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent



    • Preferred: Associate degree in construction or electronics technology






  2. Experience



    • Preferred: 1-2 years of relevant experience in construction or electronics






  3. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities



    • Strong understanding of basic construction technology and approved construction practices




    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills- Proficient in using hand and power tools, as well as driving forklifts




    • Good written and verbal communication skills- Basic math and computer skills






  4. Physical- Ability to lift 25-75 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, stooping, bending, and twisting



    • Good eyesight, hearing, and manual dexterity





WORKING CONDITIONS: All working conditions are in a warehouse/shop environment.


DUTIES AND TASKS:



  1. Perform physical labor.




  2. Set up security electronics and networking equipment.




  3. Perform warehouse/shop housekeeping.




  4. Follow written and verbal instructions provided by the immediate supervisor.




  5. Demonstrate knowledge of basic construction technology and approved construction practices.




  6. Adhere to company policies and guidelines.




  7. Perform job duties without constant supervision.




  8. Safeguard all tools and company equipment in their care.




  9. Report unsafe acts or conditions on the job site immediately.




  10. Work and interact with other team members.




  11. Follow all safety procedures as set forth by OSHA.




  12. Provide guidance to other technicians as assigned.
