The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
Assist higher level employees in their role as TFS work management coordinator. Perform all tasks in the scheduling of pre-determined work activities of Transmission field personnel. Perform collecting data, data entry, and maintaining front end loaded schedules as well as completed ready to execute resource loaded schedules that optimize the maintenance work plans, capital work plans and other TFS work activities. Develop skill set to research and submit TFS outage requests, including entering data into the outage management system, and verifying that all required outages have been entered. Become proficient with all associated scheduling software and research databases. Must be a self-motivated individual and able to work under minimal supervision, be a good communicator and work well with others.

Essential Job Functions & Tasks:
1. Under the direction of others, learn the process to develop fully integrated resource loaded and levelized TFS work schedules that optimize maintenance work plans, capital outage work, and other TFS work activities using Transmission approved scheduling software and tools.
2. Develop equipment knowledge and print/schematic reading skillset, combined with additional research to develop a thorough outage plans considering cross departmental collaboration.
3. Comply with the Outage Coordination Procedure and all RTO guidelines
4. Participate in meetings with project, outage, construction, maintenance, operations, and commissioning groups.
5. Assist and learn to research and submit TFS outage requests, including entering outages into the outage management system.
6. Perform organizing, coordinating and attending the supporting areas outage coordination meetings to develop in depth outage schedules.
7. Assist higher level employees in coordinating changes to the work schedule when an outage needs to be canceled or rescheduled.
8. Assist higher level employees in the development, review, and presentation of statistical reports related to work scheduling and adherence, crew utilization, etc.
9. Assist with the coordination and participate in meetings with other sections/departments covering scheduling, staffing and outages.
10. Develop professionalism, Safety practice, positive Culture, good teamwork skills, effective communication skills, and become familiar with planning and scheduling techniques.
11. Perform all duties and work with others in a safe manner in compliance with appropriate Company safety policies and rules.

TFS Work Mngmt Coord Assc
Associate degree in Engineering technology or similar field
Or, High School equivalency and 2 years direct electrical utility experience.

TFS Work Mngmt Coord
Associate degree in Engineering technology or similar field and 4 years of electrical utility experience Or, High School/ GED equivalency and 6 years direct electrical utility experience.

Utility field experience would include Transmission or Distribution Line, Station, P&C, Transmission engineering, Transmission or Distribution dispatch experience; or Electrical Utility maintenance and/or construction work/project scheduling or project controls experience is strongly preferred.
Travel (15%) will consist of traveling for training, meetings and field visits. Travel will be in Texas. Flying/Driving dependent on destination. Overnight stay is expected, multiple nights at times. Suppliers should review the Travel Policy with the candidate prior to submission to ensure understanding of reimbursement.

Must have a valid U.S. driver s license.
Job designation is Field. Candidate should be prepared to work 5 days a week in office during the first year to gain exposure and training for their role. In office days could drop to 3 days a week based on performance and completion of first year training.

An electrical engineering degree with utility experience is highly preferred. Possess the ability to read a one line diagram for an electrical substation. Prior experience with electrical substation equipment installation, commissioning, lock out tag out, P&C trip testing, or equipment servicing will be needed for a successful candidate. Good knowledge about electric power systems, relays, electrical control circuitry or telecommunication.

Additional Requirements:
1. Ability to read/ interpret electrical schematics.
2. Aptitude to understand switching, tagging and clearance points
3. Working knowledge of MS Office applications
4. Some travel required, must possess and maintain a valid state driver s license
5. Become familiar with planning and scheduling techniques.
