Job Description - Theatre Event Services Coordinator

Join Our Team as a Theatre Event & Services Coordinator!


The Classic Center is looking for a dedicated Theatre Event & Services Coordinator to manage front-of-house operations, plan events, and oversee the volunteer usher program. If you thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, this is your opportunity to shine!


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead Front of House operations for touring and professional ticketed events.

  • Oversee volunteer ushers, including recruitment, training, and scheduling.

  • Plan and execute non-touring theatre events, ensuring smooth operations and client satisfaction.

  • Ensure ADA compliance and a welcoming environment for all guests.

  • Train and manage part-time front-of-house staff.

  • Handle event logistics, including staffing, equipment, and billing.


Qualifications:



  • 1-2 years of experience in event management, hospitality, or customer service preferred.

  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.

  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
