Therapist

Position: Therapist  Associate

Type: Hourly, Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Shift : Monday- Friday Business Hours. Flexible with Evenings and Weekends.

Compensation Base rate:

• $30 - $35 per hour (Associate)


• $36 - $40 per hour (Licensed/Submitted Clinical Hours )


• Associates who have submitted their clinical hours /Licensed applicants pay range is $36-$40 per hour

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Therapists to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in various aspects of our mental health and addiction program including group therapy, family therapy and individual therapy. Reports to Clinical Director and/or Program Director

Key Responsibilities

• Works directly under Clinical Director and/or Program Director.


• Establishes positive, trusting rapport with patients.


• Creates individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances.


• Meets with patients for a regular individual session and stay up to date with all progress notes, and treatment plans.


• Conducts ongoing assessments of patient progress.


• Collaborate with family members and conduct family sessions as needed.


• Refers patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary.


• Maintains thorough records of patient meetings and progress.


• Follows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality. 

Qualifications & Skills

• License/Certification: AMFT, ACSW, APCC  or LMFT/LCSW/LPCC 


• Education: Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field, or another relevant field 


• Experience with therapeutic modalities (Psychodynamic, CBT/DBT) and trauma work 

• Current CPR/First Aid Certification 


• Valid CA Driver's License


• Current Health Screen 


• TB Clearance


• Clinical Experience: 2years or more (Preferred)


• Strong interpersonal skills


• Excellent communication and listening skills


• Ability to build rapport quickly


• Detail oriented


• Ability to communicate with compassion and empathy


• Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
