What You'll Do:

You’ll conduct daily therapeutic groups, provide individualized and family counseling, and document clinical activities in alignment with professional and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete psychosocial intakes and master treatment plans within required timelines.
  • Facilitate daily group sessions covering orientation, mental health education, recovery, and self-care.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to help clients address challenges and build coping strategies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop, adjust, and implement treatment plans.
  • Assist clients with care coordination, including documentation, referrals, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records for quality care and compliance.
  • Support family involvement and education to foster a strong recovery network.
  • Attend clinical meetings, participate in training (20+ hours/year), and contribute to a clean, safe, and respectful treatment environment.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and all HIPAA, federal, and state privacy regulations.

What You Bring:

Education & Licensure:

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • If in recovery, a minimum of two years of continuous sobriety required.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • In-depth knowledge of mental health and addiction issues.
  • Familiarity with community resources for physical, emotional, spiritual, and economic support.
  • Understanding of confidentiality, patient rights, ethical standards, and relevant laws.
  • Ability to manage emergencies, including overdose and withdrawal.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
  • Comfortable adapting to changing schedules and job duties within a team setting.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily indoor, temperature-controlled work environment (80–90% of the time).
  • Medium potential for workplace stress or client behavioral escalations.
  • No routine exposure to bloodborne pathogens; PPE not required for daily tasks.

We offer a supportive, collaborative work environment where your professional growth and contributions to mental health recovery are valued. Our team is passionate about making a difference—and we’re looking for someone who shares that passion.
