They design treatment plans, evaluate the results for the client and make changes to the plan as needed, oversee the client’s trajectory at multiple levels of care, and provide weekly clinical reports for insurance review.
The Clinical Therapist oversees clinical interventions, participates in consultation and feedback with Leadership. Clinical Therapist will ensure proper documentation of clinical interventions are compliant with joint commission standards. The Clinical Therapist is responsible for having knowledge of and compliance with policies and procedures of the center and provides as needed intervention/support to ensure compliance.
The Clinical Therapist will maintain a caseload of clients and lead weekly therapy groups
The Clinical Therapist will create, monitor, and update client treatment plans
The Clinical Therapist will provide clinical documentation for weekly utilization reviews
Ensures timely and accurate clinical intervention and documentation for caseload
Participates in coordinating coverage for clinical group and services.
Coordinates with several branches of care to ensure effective care for clients.
Works closely with Leadership to provide daily programming required at the center
Consults with Leadership in situations in which additional supervision, direction, and information is needed
Participates in mandatory weekly staff meetings presenting client cases for review
Maintains professional and solution focused demeanor
Maintains current licensure and certifications as required by the state
Prepared to support and assist in crisis intervention or other situations when deemed appropriate
Ensures that the client's information is maintained in confidence, secure and intact
Works as a team with direct care staff, medical providers, administrators, etc. to maintain comprehensive care of clients
Provides on-call support on assigned weeks during the month
Must be able to complete therapy training (such as EMDR, RRT, and ART)
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
A master's degree or higher as a Licensed Professional Counselor or master's in social work
Must be a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
