Therapist - Substance Abuse Treatment

Schedule:

• Full\-time (40 hours per week)
  




• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop diagnostic impressions using DSM criteria
  




• Create individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and families
  




• Present case conceptualizations to the clinical team
  




• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions
  




• Maintain accurate and timely documentation including assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans
  




• Deliver psychoeducational and support groups
  




• Coordinate services with external providers and community resources
  




• Provide crisis intervention and participate in 24\-hour emergency services as needed
  




• Stay updated with current treatment trends and participate in professional development
  

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of behavioral health and substance use treatment
  




• Familiarity with state and federal treatment regulations
  




• Experience with co\-occurring disorders
  




• Strong interpersonal, problem\-solving, and communication skills
  




• Ability to work independently and within a team
  




• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records
  

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

• Primarily office\-based with extended periods of sitting
  




• Occasional lifting (up to 10 lbs)
  




• Potential exposure to infectious diseases
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
  




• Active state licensure (PDAC, CDAC, LCDP, LMHC\-A, LCSW)
  




• Minimum one year of clinical experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment
  




• Knowledge of 12\-Step Recovery programs preferred
  




• Pursuit of chemical dependency certification/licensure preferred
