Therapy Aide - Part-Time - Robinson Township - Continuous Learning Opportunities

Tri-State Physical Therapy (TSPT), a division of Tri-State Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, is seeking a part-time (20-28 hours/week with possible additional hours for coverage) Therapy Aide to join our well-established and growing physical therapy practice in our Robinson Township office.

Founded in 2005, TSPT provides the full range of musculoskeletal rehab including physical, occupational and hand therapy services. Our therapy providers work closely with the physicians and rely on a strong clinical support team to assist with patient education, exercises, modalities, treatment, documentation and other related gym tasks.

Responsibilities: Our Therapy Aides assist the therapists in treatment of patients, as directed by the physical therapist; training and educating patients and/or family members in appropriate exercises and activities of daily living; preparing equipment and supplies for treatment; managing inventory; and maintaining a clean and efficient office environment. Must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills and be comfortable interacting with patients on a daily basis with an upbeat and positive attitude. Candidates must also be willing to travel to other offices, if necessary and cross-train for front desk operations. Outpatient rehab experience and/or a Degree in Exercise Science is preferred but will train on the job. EMR experience a plus.
