Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg, a 5-Star rated Continuing Care Retirement Community in Central VA is seeking a Therapy Services Manager to join our team! Full-time position available with complete benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Time Off, 403B with company match, and more. 

• Supervises all Rehab Agency functions.
• Delegate the authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out specified duties.
• Maintains communication with physicians, family members, Agency personnel, and support departments to adequately plan and provide for patients’ needs.
• Deals tactfully with patients, family members, referral resources, and Agency staff.
• Knowledgeable regarding federal and state regulations and guidelines pertaining to Rehab Agencies.
• Maintains ongoing continuing education and professional development.
• Provides coaching and feedback to rehab therapy team members including discipline.
• Assists Rehab patients with achieving therapy goals.
• Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
• Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training and hazard assessments.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING):

• Must be a college graduate with a Baccalaureate degree.
• Either a physical therapist, or physical therapist assistant, occupational therapist, occupational assistant, speech therapist, or nursing home administrator or has a Baccalaureate or post-graduate degree in Administration or a health-related field OR experience as listed:
• A minimum of two years administrative/management experience, preferably in a private duty, home care, or healthcare setting.
• Experience in Rehab Agency preferred.
• Public relations experience preferred.
• Possesses a valid Virginia driver’s license.
• Cross-trained in various jobs within department or ability to do so.
• Ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
• Supervisory experience and strong leadership ability.
