Trailer Refrigeration Mechanic
Large Refrigerated trailer company located in Cranbury, New Jersey with a fleet of over 600 refrigerated trailers is seeking a full-time Thermo-King/ Carrier refrigeration mechanic.

Since 1967, our family-owned business has been supplying quality, affordable refrigerated trailers to a wide range of businesses in the Northeast and Middle Atlantic states, meeting and exceeding the needs of its customers with reliable, top-quality services.

Qualifications:

Thermo-King and/or Carrier Certification

EPA Refrigerant Certification

Computer Skills

Current knowledge of regulations and laws within assigned area (DOT, OSHA, EPA)

Responsibilities:

Plan and perform preventative maintenance on Transportation refrigeration units, and all other associated skilled tasks

Troubleshoot and repair Transportation Thermo-King & Carrier Units

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems

Replace faulty or damaged components, such as compressors, motors, switches and sensors

Perform leak test, repair and recharge refrigerant systems

Work effectively with a team, assisting other personnel as necessary to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to determine best practices for repair work and assess downtime with shop manager

Ability to work independently

Clean Driving record and valid driver’s license

Compensation: $32.00 - $38.00 per hour

Jilco Equipment Leasing Co Inc has leased, rented, sold, and serviced all types of refrigerated over-the-road and storage trailers for over 50 years now. As a major trailer leasing and sales company, we specialize in providing just the right trailers to meet our customers' needs. With a fleet of more than 700 refrigerated trailers, we warranty all of the trailers and units we sell.

Our locally and family-owned business has two facilities totaling 30,000 square feet of shop space on ten acres of fenced parking. Our facilities are manned by a staff of mechanics capable of performing any repair, modification, or installation. On top of that, we have a parts department stocked with a complete line of trailer and refrigeration parts.
