TIG Welder / Fitter - Tri-Cities

JRT is currently recruiting a project in the Tri-Cities, Washington area starting.  We are looking for candidates that can weld and fit.  The project will entail working with stainless pipe (TIG).  Per Diem is available for individuals from outside the area. This project has a duration of 6-8 weeks. Typical work week will be 50 hours per week with a few weeks in the 60 hours per week range.

Job Description:

JRT is seeking an experienced welder/fitter in the Tri Cities area. We are looking at candidates with experience and someone that has accurate and precise attention to detail in their work. If you're looking to work with a great group of people and have fun everyday at work, please apply!

• Weld and fit stainless steel pipe
• Fit and install threaded pipe
• Either certified or qualified to be certified to weld pipe in the 6G position
• 6G test is Schedule 10, 3 inch stainless open root (TIG)
• Read blueprints, plans, and shop drawings
• Clean and clear debris and hazardous material from pipes as needed
• Includes installation of piping supports such as hanger/strut/all-thread 
• Willing to help other trades as needed

Pay is offered based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Wages:  Up to $48 an hour depending on experience - for anyone traveling greater than 150 miles, per diem is offered at $100 per day worked.
