Tile Locator / Operator

DeCook Drainage out of Byron, MN is hiring a Drainage Tile Locator / Equipment Operator to locate existing drainage tile using Trimble GPS software and operate a backhoe or dozer for installations or repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Locate and map drainage tile using Trimble GPS systems


• Operate backhoe and/or dozer for excavation and grading


• Install, repair, and expose drainage tile


• Read and interpret drainage plans and grade requirements


• Perform equipment inspections and follow safety procedures

Qualifications:

• Experience operating backhoe or dozer


• Familiarity with Trimble GPS or grade control systems a plus


• Experience in agricultural drainage or underground utilities a plus


• Valid driver’s license required (CDL preferred)


• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

Physical Demands:

• Lifting/Pulling/Pushing up to 80-100 lbs


• Bending/Crouching


• Squatting/Kneeling
