Time and Attendance Specialist

Knowledge and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent combination of education and experience.


• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).


• Proficiency in UKG (UltiPro) Time and Attendance system.


• Minimum of 1 year experience in data and batch processing.


• Exhibits continuous attention to detail, confidentiality, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.


• Accuracy, good research skills, and communication in both written and verbal skills.

 Skills:

• Must have high level of attention to details


• Must have effective communication skills, both written and oral


• Must have strong organizational skills

Key Accountabilities

Time and Attendance:

• Operational support:




• Audit/ Data Quality: Support closure of pay period to ensure accurate T&A across our portfolio. Provide technical leadership to “Payroll Specialist” at locations for accurate and timely data entry (matrix management).


• Scheduling: Ensure all employees have accurate schedules assigned in T&A.


• Run Cuts: Support the integration of new run cuts into DCS


• Knowledge sharing: ensure our dispatchers are trained and proficient in the usage of DCS to limit data quality issues in T&A




• Process Mapping:




• Support the Director of Performance to map the process from T&A to Payroll


• Ensure accountabilities are mapped and reflected in each JD within the organization


• Rationalize workload within the organization




• Improvement:




• Help improve the data mapping, flow and dashboarding to respond to the need of the organization


• Support the Director of Performance to automate attendance reporting from UTA             

Performance:

• Dashboarding: Help improve the dashboards shared within the organization


• Month End: support the month end process.       


• Ad-hoc analysis: support the organization to analyze trends and data to provide some   continuous improvement prospect to our networks


• Data & Performance Literacy: support the Planning & Performance dept. to uplift knowledge and analytical skills across the organization


• Viz Room: support the deployment and animation of the standard
