As a Time and Attendance Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of hourly professional Time and Attendance Cast who enable an accurate time and attendance each week for 65k Operational Hourly Cast at Walt Disney World. This role requires the ability to create a path toward a given strategic direction while supporting projects to improve the time and attendance work including interpreting trends and developing new metrics and processes to ensure compliance with policy. The position uses extensive partnerships to maintain appropriate controls and compliance with collective bargaining agreements, company policy, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and Family Medical Leave of Absence (FMLA). It also applies analytical and project management skills to support various continuous improvement efforts that improve the accuracy of time recording and attendance by collaborating across Time & Attendance Leaders with process and logic design to support evolving policy and system functionality. The role brings to bear extensive knowledge of upstream and downstream systems and processes that have a high impact on the accuracy of time and attendance recording to troubleshoot sophisticated problems and propose & implement solutions.
The selected candidate will report to the Manager-Time & Attendance.

What You Will Do:
Creates a high-functioning team motivated to deliver objectives; holds the team accountable to following procedures & implement quality metrics
Leads a team in supporting Operational Leaders, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating audits to ensure that accurate time-entry and record cards have been submitted for the Walt Disney World Parks and Resorts hourly Cast Member base
Work with professionals and partners across The Walt Disney Company – including Compensation, Global HR Operations, Leave Administration, Labor Relations, Human Resources Information Systems, Legal, Labor Systems, Benefits, and Payroll – to make sure that all time and attendance rules are being followed
Provide time, pay, and attendance expertise to key partners for policy development and interpretation
Assist in the ongoing training of Operations Leaders and support staff
Work with partner teams on new policy implementation ensuring a smooth implementation for aspects impacting the time and attendance processes
Participate in projects that improve the level of accuracy and efficiency in recording time and attendance
Identify areas of opportunity for continuous improvements of daily processes to achieve daily goals
Lead a team to resolve operational issues and risks. Escalate and communicate efficiently
Project manage small projects and workstreams of large projects, including effective communication and escalation
Supervise and communicate status of operations and projects within scope
Manipulate data and conduct accurate analyses for insights
You Will Have:
Leadership of daily operations and mentoring team members
Ability to organize multiple work priorities across a team on a day-to-day basis while also coordinating work to meet a longer-term goal, quickly identify problems, think strategically to identify a solution, then solve with timely manner
Ability to troubleshoot, resolve sophisticated issues brought up to leadership for resolution
Ability to lead projects with influence of partners from multiple teams' and assist with creativity to approach problems in new, innovative ways
Basic understanding of HR roles such as Compensation, Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Payroll, or HRIS
Ability to lead and prioritize multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work with multi-functional team and across skill levels
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive, personal information
Computer proficiency with Word, Excel, Slack, Teams, Zoom and Outlook
Willingness to learn new software and adapt to ever-changing work
Successfully work/partner effectively with all levels of Cast
A flexible work scheduled to work on weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
One to three years of Disney Operations Leader experience
Knowledge of Union Collective Bargaining Agreements and the Walt Disney Company Employee Policy Manual.
Experience with MY TIME (aka Infor, Workbrain), Cast Deployment System (CDS), GEMS, Cast Mobile, EiSS, Zendesk, and/or SAP
Detailed understanding of labor systems including upstream and downstream impacts
Experience coordinating work in large work teams/streams
Required Education:
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Education:
Degree focus in analytics, process improvement, and/or human resources
