Time Audit Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Time Audit Specialist, you will be responsible for auditing GPS-based clock-ins/outs, reconciling field time sheets, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accuracy.

Our focus is on equipping, building, repairing, and maintaining retail facilities for operators of convenience stores and related types of business. Our core expertise is with fuel systems however we are expanding our offerings to provide a broad range of equipment, installation, repairs, and maintenance of the mechanical systems in these facilities. Our market is roughly the eastern half of Texas. We have delivered double-digit annual revenue growth for over fifteen years and expect that to continue going forward. We are privately held.

A PREVIEW OF YOUR DAY TO DAY

• Reconcile GPS tracking logs with employee time sheets to verify location and time accuracy.


• Review and analyze exceptions (e.g., missed check-ins, overlapping time, geofence violations) and flag/report discrepancies.


• Investigate and resolve time discrepancies by communicating with field staff, supervisors, and billing.


• Audit time-tracking and GPS software to ensure data integrity.


• Generate audit reports detailing findings, corrective actions, and process improvements.


• Support billing operations by supplying accurate time data and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s is a plus


• Experience: This is an entry level position. Timekeeping, payroll audit, GPS data handling experiences a plus.
